This  Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected,  used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from scripter scraps  (the “Shop”,“Site”).

Thank you for visiting Scripter Scraps. We take the privacy of our users and customers seriously. 

As  such, we will not ask for personal details that are not required as  part of your transaction. Any personal data collected by us online will  be safely and securely stored. 

PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

When  you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about  your device, including information about your web browser, IP address,  time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device.  Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the  individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search  terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact  with the Site. We refer to this automatically-collected information as  “Device Information.”

We collect Device Information using the following technologies:

-  “Cookies” are very small data files that are placed on your device or  computer and often include an anonymous unique identifier which can be  accessed when you visit this site in future. -  “Log files” track actions occurring on the Site, and collect data  including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider,  referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.

- “Web beacons,” “tags,” and “pixels” are electronic files used to record information about how you browse the Site.

Additionally,  when you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the  Site, we collect certain information from you, including your name,  billing address, shipping address, email address, and phone number. We  refer to this information as “Order Information.”

When  we speak about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are  referring to both Device Information and Order Information.

If you would like the information we hold about you to be deleted, please submit your request to us at scripterscraps@gmail.com.

If  you register to receive our newsletter, your email address will be  stored. You can unsubscribe using the link at the bottom of the  newsletter at any time. 

We  work with social media platforms such as ‘Facebook’ to help promote our  products. They use tracking pixels on our website to collect  information from visitors that helps us to target our advertising  effectively. If you do not wish to receive advertising on social media  from us, please turn off this functionality in the settings on your  social media platforms. Alternatively, you can turn off all targeted  online advertising at Your Online Choices.

HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

We  use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfill any  orders placed through the Site (including arranging for shipping and  providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations). Additionally,  we use this Order Information to:

Communicate with you;

Screen  our orders for potential risk or fraud; and when in line with the  preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or  advertising relating to our products or services.

We  use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for  potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more  generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating  analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and  to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).

SHARING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

We  share your Personal Information with third parties to help us use your  Personal Information, as described above. For example, if you pay for  our services via PayPal, then your data will also be stored with them.  The details of their privacy statement are located on their site.

We  use Etsy and Go Daddy to power our online store. You can read more  about how they use your personal information in their policies on their  respective sites.

Finally,  we may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable  laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other  lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our  rights.

BEHAVIOURAL ADVERTISING

As  described above, we use your Personal Information to provide you with  targeted advertisements or marketing communications we believe may be of  interest to you. When  you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order  Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this  information.

The Site is not intended for individuals under the age of 18.

CHANGES

We  may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect,  for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or  regulatory reasons.

Payment Information

Our  website provides checkout options with PayPal and credit cards. Your  credit card information is safe, as we do not store any payment  information in our system.

Refunds and Cancellations

Refunds and cancellations are not accepted.

In the event something went wrong with your order, please do not hesitate to contact us so that we can make it right! 

We  hope that you love our products but understand that not everyone will  appreciate the imperfections that can be present in a hand-made product.  We ask that you please make sure you understand that most (if not all)  of our products are hand made, or assembled by hand, and may( or may  not) lack uniformity and the level of quality that a machine made/mass  produced product will have. Please keep this in mind before purchasing  our products since we do not offer refunds or exchanges. If you have any  concerns or questions, please contact us prior to purchasing.

If  you have any questions or concerns after receiving our products, please  contact us and we will gladly work with you to see if we can find a  reasonable solution. 

Order changes

We are not able to make any changes to an order once it is placed. We are not able to add, remove  items, or exchange items within an order. We are also not able to cancel  orders. 

Shipping & Handling 

Most  orders will ship within 1-2 business days (MONDAY – FRIDAY 9:00 AM –  5:00 PM CST) unless otherwise noted. Please note this processing time is  in addition to shipping transit times. Orders placed during peak sales  days (including release days and Black Friday / Cyber Monday weekend)  may be subject to additional processing time, as we are processing a  large amount of orders during these times. Choosing expedited shipping  (USPS 1-3 Priority) at check-out does not place your order to the front  of the shipping queue since we process all orders in the order they are  received, but it does provide you the quickest shipping method possible  after processing. Once a package leaves our shop, we are unable to  control how it is handled by the carrier. Should your order arrive  damaged, please contact us immediately so that we can do our best to  resolve the issue. Please verify your shipping address is correct at  checkout (through our shop AND through PayPal if you choose to checkout  with their services) before submitting your order. We are not  responsible for orders shipped to incorrectly submitted addresses.

International Orders

International  orders require extended shipping time, 2-4 weeks or longer, in some  cases. Shipping times vary greatly based on your international shipping  address. Please note Import duties, taxes and other charges are not  included in the item price or shipping costs. These charges are the  buyer’s responsibility. Please check with your country’s customs office  to determine what these additional costs will be prior to purchasing. 

Customs Duties and Taxes

Scripter  Scraps, is not responsible for any import taxes and fees, customs  charges, duties, and all other taxes, and fees that may apply. 

Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Products

We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged products.

Custom Orders

We  accept custom orders; but please note that the production time could  vary between 2-8 weeks depending on size and complexity of order and  existing custom order workload. 

Discount codes & sales

We  do occasionally offer discount codes, so be sure to join our email  newsletter list and follow us on Social Media to receive updates on any  current promotions. Any sales or discount codes offered are for in-stock  products only. No raincheck will be offered.
